Broken Down Vehicle Instruction

Here is what to do if you are in the local or surrounding area (within 60 miles of the San Marcos Campus):

• During business hours (8am – 5pm) call: 512.245.2824
  • Let us know your location, TXST vehicle number, and contact phone number
• Weekends or before/after business hours call: 512.245.2108
  • Let the dispatcher know your location, TXST vehicle number, and contact phone number

Here is what to do if you are NOT in the local or surrounding area:

• Prepare before calling have the following information ready
  • License plate number
  • TXST vehicle number
  • Vehicle description: year, make, model, color
  • Know your vehicle’s exact location: street address, cross street / off-ramp, direction of travel
  •  Good contact phone number
• Call NAC for road service: 1.800.934.6521
• Give your NAC account number: Voyager Fleet Card (fuel card) Number

If possible, stay in your vehicle until fleet rescue service arrives.
