“Growning Green”

The Facilities Department, including Custodial Operations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Risk Management and other departments of FSS are making huge strides in sustainable initiatives. (Click here to visit our Sustainability Page)

The Custodial Management team understands the concept of synergy – the whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Teamwork with synergy will produce an overall better result than if each person was working toward the same goal individually.

Another important goal is “growing” the employee. From the Management Team to the Line Staff training is an ongoing priority. Many of the staff currently hold professional certifications in their fields. The education and professional development will continue at all levels.

The Management Team views its role as that of facilitator, teacher and student as the department moves forward to become an unbeatable team!
